Bright and Beautiful

 Hello...

Late today as I had yet another workman round to look at doing some painting.....after the 1st one did not turn up !why oh why if they do not want the job just say

Anyway....today is the start of a new challenge over on Fab n Funky...and the theme is Embossing...wet or dry...

5X7 card....yellow card from stash...I took some kraft card and used a 3d embossing folder from Tim Holtz which i inked with some Distress ink....I then cut some flowers die is by Impression Obsessions out of white card and coloured them with Promarkers and put some glitter  Nuvo Drops...jar is from Sizzix....sentiment LOTV...

Todays card for a friend ...nice and flat for posting....

5x7 card....tulip die is from Sizzix......and used some Nuvo drops....sentiment is Tonic...and the embossing folder which I inked from Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine...

 Hello....

What a lovely sunny day for the start of the week...

Todays cards are 5X5 as I seem to have a few
5x5 envelopes left....so I made some 5x5 card blanks to fit...

The digi is from LOTV.....Just love the cute image ...coloured with Promarkers....I used some papers from stash on one than for the 2nd one cut a card blank with a Tonic die... made background with a Sizzix embossing folder and some yellow Memento Inks...

Santa's Helper 2

 Good Morning...

I've been playing with Santa's Helper by Tim Holtz....I love this little guy...strange how little things made me happy!...

I started with a 6x6  card....and got some light blue card from stash....as the blue was not the colour i wanted so i got out some Distress oxide in Chipped Sapphire for the background...I cut out the snowflake die in white linen card from Papermill....the die was a gift so no name....the helper i cut a few times in cream and blue all from the bit box and layer him up.....I used flower soft on his trim of his hat and the pom pom....sentiment from Tonic....and some gems...

Santa's Helper

 Good Morning...

Its been one bad night here as my back door wont not lock....so I did not get much sleep....lucky for me one of my lovely neighbours works in double glazing and has put on a new lock for me...would not take any monies so i will buy him some beers..

Still making Christmas cards.....5x7 card ....some red and craft card and paper all from stash...to make some layers then die cut Santa's Helper twice out black card stock....rest of paper from the bit box...sentiment is from Tonic...

6X6 card....I took a very old stamp....which Ive had a long time....sorry no name....stamped it on white card and embossed it with Sliver....all card from stash.....lots of layers...flower is from Sizzix  and a gem...

Just a Note...

 Hello...Im very late with my posting today....as my computer would not start ....and as many of you know Im a computer numpty...but with the help over the phone at last Im back on line....

Today is the start of a new challenge over on Fab and funky and its a nice easy one which is add a button...hosted by the lovely Neva....

I started with the image which I have coloured with Promarkers....image and sentiment from Clearly Besotted...I cut it with a spellbinders Classic Scalloped die....Ive used two embossing folders for the background the flower one is from Sizzix and the leaf one is from Ultimate Crafts... then I found some lace and a bit of ribbon and last added the button....

Christmas and Birthday....

 Good Morning....

I hope you all are enjoying the warm sunny weather....got a few jobs to do in my garden this week....

I started making some quick cards for a few birthday later this month....

6x6 card....white linen card from Papermill....flower sizzix as is the leaves.....panel die again sizzix...

and the 2nd card 5x7 I used some craft card...Tim Holtz  flower and leaves....sentiment is from Tonic...

Arthur the Owl

 Good Morning....Hope you are all well....as we are here....

Today's Card is for a Friends Daughter who asked her Mum for a Owl for her birthday...she wanted a stuffed one....yuk!....not my thing as I like owls to be a live....Her Mum said no ....thank goodness.....so I made her a card to send to her....

The owl die is from Sizzix  colorize called Arthur by Tim Holtz.....he looks very grumpy to me!....16 dies...and each set of die has which colour to use on the back....I cut mine from bits of card from the bit box...I also cut his tail so it could look more like he is sitting on the  branch....The background i used a embossing folder from Tonic....which I coloured with some chalks.......green card from Papermill...

Sizzix Poinsettia

 Good Morning....Made it! I don't know about you but its been too hot to craft.....but the rain over the last few days have cool my little craft room down....

Today's day is one I have been batch making.....Sizzix has a sale on....  A few fell in to my basket....I brought this one  and other one for a web friends birthday.....

I made a 6x6 card for the base then cut a square to fit it and cut the die.....white linen and red card  from Papermill....then I took some watercolor card and some Distress Inks for the background....the red frame is Spellbinders...then added some Nuvo Glitter Drops...

Take one drinks can!

Good morning....Well social distancing was a big fail yesterday ....Amazon drive came ...rang door bell and handed the parcel to me !!!....

Today is the start of a new challenge over on Fab n Funky and the lovely Ginny has chosen Creature Feature....
I took a drinks can and cut the top and bottom and open it up....very carefully... I then die cut with Tim Holtz Bigz Caged Bird  die.....best way to stick on to the card is red tape....the bird i cut from card and coloured with my Promarkers ...bubble die Sizzix....craft card and brown card from stash...the back ground i used masks and stamp with some ink....

Today's

project started out as a few for  family,friends and and web buddies ....and now over 100...for carers and NHS.....I was very lucky to get this die for Christmas as the lovely Alison sent me a card with her on and one inside..... Angel die by Sizzix... white card Papermill...Ive used star vellum for her wings Jackdaw Express Ebay...embossed the body..cream card for the face...Red mirri card for the heart....and used ric rac ribbon ... and pearls,gems to dress her up...

Easter Baskets

Hello....Hope you are all keeping well and warm...Its sunny but chilly and windy here in Essex...and the builders have been here today and the wall is drying out well....hopefully the rest of the work will start on Friday....

I have been asked by the craft club to take a class next month....as it will be just before easter I thought it would nice to make Easter Baskets....the 1st one made went in the bin!...but got the hang of it on the two I made here...I think the pink would be nice as a get well or Birthday...and had a "dry run" with one of the ladies who came to my house to help me cut out all the dies cuts....the die set is from Sizzix....card from Papermill and the bit boxes.....I have made them so they fold flat and  fit into a 6x6 envelope.....

Love Birds

Good Morning...Its a sunny start of the day here in Essex....but very cold....the builder came yesterday and started on the work in my conservatory and had taken some of the plaster off...and put a dehumidifier in place....

On to today's card....all the card Papermill....the die set is from Sizzix....lots of cutting and tiny bits....but got there in the end!!!....Ive made it for a young couple who hope to move soon....I used some gem for the flowers and the birds eyes...which makes look a bit spooky!!! maybe next time I leave them alone....lol.....Sorry the photo is not good still playing with windows 10....

Im back.....

Good Morning...
I'm back!.... had computer and houses problems...my new computer is up and running...had to get a computer man in to transfer all my images and photos... great fun...NOT....getting into my web sites...the only which wont let me is Docrafts....even try a new email and pass word...pain in the bum!!!...then had to go and buy a new camera as my old one the card is too big to fit into my new computer ....
and on top of everything ive got a on going leak in the back wall of my house where the conservatory is on it....so I had a builder in to have a look....When I looked at the houses last year it been "done up" to sell and the leak had been plastered over and is now spreading over the wall....I have insurance with Churchill....but will only pay out £480.00 and i have excess of £450.00....so i looks like i have to pay all of it myself....I have never made a claim...the the guy at Churhill was so unhelpful....so I be looking for a new insurance company thats for sure!!!

On today's card....sorry its a bit dark....cant seem to brighten it....I got a new die as a christmas gift....no name....but it looks like Marianne but flip side! I used some old gold card,linen card and pale yellow card....and one of my new vintage images...leaves Sizzix....flower from Memory Box...and a few pearls....

Christmas Leaves

Hello.....the sun in out if a bit chilly....
Today's card is a quick one ....I started with a 5x7 card ....red and green card from Papermill....paper from stash.....hessian left over from making my wreaths.....leaves from Sizzix Winter Leaves....I cut 5 of them and cut the berries out of pearl card.....sentiment Tonic....
